This involved the replacement of damaged fixings, careful alignment of the appliance, and thorough testing to guarantee its safe operation. To address the accessibility issue with the customer’s driveway, we undertook a prompt repair program that included the inspection and replacement of the damaged manhole cover. Additionally, we upgraded the shower enclosure to create a sleek and modern space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The entire area was thoroughly cleaned and prepared before the new tiles and fixtures were installed, ensuring a seamless transition from old to new.

• Applying a new layer of waterproofing membrane to prevent water ingress and damage to the structure.

Additionally, we also carried out maintenance work in the office area, including painting and repainting existing surfaces, to ensure that both areas of the property were thoroughly cleaned and prepared for future use. This involved removing and replacing all existing mortar, repointing the entire side of the building to ensure a secure and weather-tight seal. Additionally, we replaced damaged or rotten bricks with new ones, ensuring that the structure’s integrity is maintained.

To enhance energy efficiency and reduce heat loss, we installed a new window tray, including air bricks and water-resistant flashing to prevent moisture ingress. Finally, three panels of double-glazed windows were also upgraded, providing improved thermal performance and reduced noise levels.

Stage 1:

• Preparation of wall area and walls ready for rendering
• Install a surface protection system to drive and surrounding the building, made up of a D.P.M. and 1200 x 2400 boards
• The loose render in areas, agreed on site visit, to be removed
• All remaining surface areas to have a bonding agent, S.B.R. applied
• Waste to be removed from site and disposed of

Labour : Duration of works expected to be up to 5 days for a small team of operatives.

Materials : D.P.M., 1200 x 2400 sterling board x 15 sheets, tarpaulins, waste removal and sundries.

Stage 2:

• Rendering the entire house at ground level
• Fit new window beads and apply a scratch coat followed by a top coat
• A flexi render mesh to be fitted during the scratch coat stage, both coats to have water-proofing additives included.

• Materials such as two types of sharp sand and cement to be delivered on a prepared/protected loading and mixing area (requires full use of the driveway during these works.)
